We at Sports Marketing Surveys are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
Her Majesty’s love of horse racing is well known and will be warmly remembered, while she was also a longstanding patron of the RFU, R&A, and All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) among other sporting events and organisations. During her reign, she was involved in some of the greatest moments in sporting history, presenting the Jules Rimet trophy to Bobby Moore in 1966 and memorably “skydiving” into the London Olympic Opening Ceremony alongside James Bond, a moment that showcased her warmth and sense of humour.
Queen Elizabeth lived a life of service and dignity and, as a team, we join so many others in extending our condolences to her family and all who loved her.
